And remember when the Rebbe said that Moshiach will first be revealed in Australia.....
YN will probably know, I'm not sure where it was said or written.
First of all, there are two aspects of revelation of Moshiach: revelation to himself (that the neshoma of Moshiach is revealed to the tzaddik who is Moshiach) and to his followers, and then the global revelation of Moshiach which is includes everyone and is the moment of the revelation of our supra-natural consciousness.
The second one obviously hasn't happened, unfortunately.
As for Australia, I never saw any source for the claim that Moshiach comes first to Australia. To the contrary I saw a video of Sunday dollars where someone from Australia tells the Rebbe that in Australia they hold that Moshiach will be revealed there first (since it is one of the first populated places after the Date Line).
The Rebbe responds to them that "here we hold that this is where Moshiach will be revealed first" (not an exact quote) and then the Rebbe says something like "it should be in both places immediately".
This would be the second (global) revelation, which transcends the boundaries of time and space. As for the first revelation? "Here we hold that this is where Moshiach will be revealed first" :)
interesting enough... when the santzer rebbe said this, america was not the main place for the jews around the world. not the first, not the second place, or the third,etc
and the same words were said by the kotzker rebbe.
and we say every day in our prayers :" and he comes to tzion and redeem ". meaning : first, he won't be in tzion(israel)
it says that moshiach will come from the mount of olives. when you squeeze an olive oil comes out. oil goes on chassidus. so Moshiach comes from the place where chassidus comes from. I think you can figure out the rest.
I believe he will be revealed in the Galil, Israel. He may come out of Esav (America) prior to his 1st revealing.
Everybody knows Moshiach, the change of the world is his work. The problem is that he has been denied. The revelation of Moshiach happens when he gets recognized, and this I think will first happen in Israel.
I think a likely scenario is that moshiach will be in Edom, which is what the prophets say he`ll come from (Europe/USA/Rome), but will first be recognized by Israel. Using the I`net, such a thing is quite possible, isn`t it. It is also possible moshiach will travel to Canaan, and will only then be recognized by Israel. It is likely Israel will recognize first because the prophets say "again Israel will be chosen." The nation-state calling itself "Israel" is constantly in a state of chaos and confusion, and it does officially not even have a Constitution ! How weird is that ! Seems like a perfect opportunity for moshiach to jump into that gap, maybe once the jews get pressured more and more there, get more & more desperate, finally asking their God for help, finally. I suppose it is all in the prophets already, although what would it really matter as long as the world will find Justice, life & peace.
